Is it our new little friendly saw-whet owl?
If you look closely, the same place we had our reunion campfire now is host for lots of wild friends. Do you think they are coming for a late night dinner, to roast hot dogs and marshmallows?
We know the magpies are always looking for little bits of food. Can you see their tracks?
Sometimes when the deer gather, they don't have the best manners. They mark their territory by wetting in the snow. The doe can tell which stag is coming by that way. I'm glad we don't do that when we have lunch!
Can you see the deer track on the left, and a very big surprise guest on the right?
follow this link, and see if you can sort who made this track.

I think our guest is on the prowl, and may need someone to tell him to go some other place for his meals! Tell me what you think, and if you think we should be worried about going for walks at night...
love you all

Wow Dad! You guess have created quite the animal shelter out there! The kids had fun looking through this!
Grandpa Ben, We saw your footprints of aminals and we figured all 'em out. That cougar voice is _so_ _scary_, and it looks scary to me. And we are so so glad that you didn't get dead.
Love,
Eleni
